Penn State faculty, staff, and students who want to learn more about setting up rank order questions in Qualtrics.

Introduction

The rank order question type provides respondents the ability to rank a list of items in relation to one another.

Article Body

A rank order question allows respondents to rank a set of items.

The number of items available can be adjusted by clicking the plus and minus signs on either side of the number of items.

Select the number of items to rank.

Choose the type of rank ordering you would like to use, including drag and drop, radio buttons, text box, and select box.

Select the method for ranking the items.
