Article Body
Zoom Meetings – User-Based
The meeting service is what most Zoom users are familiar with for conducting virtual meetings. A Zoom user can schedule and host a Zoom meeting with the Zoom software installed on their PC or mobile device. It is valuable for remote and hybrid environments and allows people to connect face-to-face regardless of any attendee’s physical location.
NOTE: Zoom Meetings users have a Personal Meeting Room associated with their accounts. Users often refer to these personal rooms informally as “Zoom Rooms”, but they are not the same as the location-based Zoom Rooms defined in the next section. This can lead to confusion when discussing location-based Zoom Rooms.
Zoom Rooms – Location-Based
Zoom Rooms are physical conference rooms integrated with Zoom software. Zoom Rooms allow multiple people to attend or view a video conference in the same physical location while also sharing content and communicating with attendees who are not physically present in the Zoom Room.
