Introduction
Occasionally, web browsers in Canvas receive an error message when accessing embedded Kaltura media. The message states: "It seems your browser is blocking 3rd party session cookies which are required for the Kaltura application. To resolve this issue, please update your settings to allow 3rd party cookies."

This is a web browser settings issue. In essence, your browser is not allowing Kaltura to store some session information in browser cookie(s). This storage is harmless but necessary for Kaltura to keep your user session alive while you're using various Kaltura functions in your browser.
This issue was reported under Apple iOS, using the Safari browser, but this issue could affect users using other browsers, such as Firefox, Chrome, or Microsoft Edge.
Cookies from Kaltura must be allowed to ensure proper functionality. The required URLs are listed below the instructions.
Follow the instructions found in the links below for your browser:
- Make sure the Prevent cross-site tracking option is unchecked.
