Introduction
Overview of how the Dead Document feature impacts the Sub Request Form
Article Body
Marking the Sub Request as Dead Doc
When it is determined that sub request is not to going to proceed, the related log record may be Dead Doc'd in negotiation manager. Prior to marking the log as dead doc, the sub request should be in "Acknowledged by CPO" state (rather than returned to the college). Upon updating the log record, the sub request status will then update to Dead Doc.
Once the sub request status has been updated to Dead Doc, it will no longer appear on the locator.
Note: If the sub request was never acknowledged by the CPO, and no log record exists, it can be deleted when in the pre-workflow, recalled, or returned states. See Deleting a PSSUB Request for more information.
Removing the Sub Request from Dead Doc
If a decision is made to remove the log record from Dead Doc, the sub request status should revert back to Acknowledged by CPO. Currently if the sub request is not in "Acknowledged by CPO" when the log is dead doc'd, the states will not update appropriately on the PSSUB.
