Research: Cores - Request Access To A Lab (Group)

Once a lab member has already registered for the first time with iLab they may need to join a new lab. The below instructions show how to create this request. Please follow all steps carefully.

1. Navigate to iLab > My Groups page                     
2. Click Request Group Access
3. In the pop-up dialog box type Penn State University and click on Penn State University when it shows up 
4. A new field will appear for Group, type in the Last Name of the PI or word in the lab name and click on the desired lab
   1. if the desired name does not show up, it is possible the PI does not yet have a name, contact the PI
5. Click the name of the desired lab and then click Request Access
   1. 
6. The PI should get an email notification to accept or reject the request
7. The PI or lab manager MUST ASSIGN A FUND NUMBER for you to be able to request services from a core
