Step-by-Step Instructions
Instructions unique to the PE_RP_ECIS_BY_ATTRIBUTE - Search by Scholar Attribute query
- Prompts with is LIKE in the title (PSU ID, Campus, Last Name and First Name) must be an exact match of the search criteria UNLESS the % (wildcard) is also used.
- Unchecking the Only term active students? box may expand your search results, particularly if you did not find the specific student while the box was checked.
Information about using the % (wildcard) while searching is available in LionPATH Tips and Tricks.
Search example
In the following example, a search for term active students with a specific last name was conducted.
- Enter the last name in the Last Name prompt.
- Confirm the Only term active students? box is checked.
- Click View Results.
The results only display active students whose last name meets the search criteria.
If you do not see the specific student in the results, the student may not be active in the current term. Uncheck the Only term active students? box and click the View Results button again to display a (potentially) longer list of students.
- To view the student’s emergency contact information, click on their PSU ID.
- The PE_RP_ECIS_CONTACT_INFO results will display for the selected student.
Note: Missing persons contact information will only display if it was provided by the student. Otherwise, the data will be absent (as in the example below).
