Introduction
On April 4, 2023, the launch of the enhanced SIMSbudgets- Budget Locator will become available. The SIMSbudgets Locator has been redesigned to allow for more advanced search options.

Users will receive the “Feature Update: Revamped Locator” page after the initial launch when first entering the SIMSbudgets application. Users will be able to toggle between the new Locator and the former locator and easily provide feedback on the revamped locator.
Users can select: "Yes, I'll Try the New Locator" to begin using the new Advanced Budget Locator or users may select "Maybe Later to the former locator" to use the existing locator.
After selecting which Locator to use, the ability to switch back and forth exists by scrolling to the bottom of either one of the locator screens.
There is an additional option to “Make this my Preferred Locator” which allows users to identify which Locator should be set as their default or “Preferred Locator” at any time.
When on the new version of Budget Locator, users can also provide feedback directly to ORIS by clicking on the “Provide Feedback” link. This will open an email to simsadmin@psu.edu for users to send feedback to the SIMS team for review of future enhancements.
