Issue
Some systems may not be compatable with IPv6 network connection. A work around, until the end-to-end connection is IPv6 compatable, is to disable IPv6 on the client.
Environment
macOS systems in a dual-stack(IPv4 and IPv6) environment.
Resolution
- Open System Preferences...
- Choose Network
- Click the Lock to make changes, enter administrative credentials
- Select the network interface that is being used.
- Click Advanced...
- Click TCP/IP
- Within the Configure IPv6 selector, choose Link-local only
