Introduction
This description will describe how to Request Tracking of a submitted Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) Request Form.
Article Body
Faculty and staff can track their NDA requests by using the myResearch Portal. The portal allows monitoring of the request process in 3 stages:
- Agreement Requests (acknowledgment by the Central Processing Office)
- Negotiation process
- Finalized agreement
Agreement Requests
The "Agreement Requests" section of the myResearch Portal allows faculty and staff to view requests that have not been acknowledged by the Central Processing Office (CPO). This section references the following information from the request:
- Request ID - Please reference this system-generated ID with the Central Processing Office.
- Request Type
- Company
- Request Date - Date the request was submitted.
- Documents - Any documents uploaded with the request can be viewed.
Once a request is acknowledged, it is removed from this section.
Pending Negotiations
Once an NDA Request is acknowledged by the CPO, it moves to the "Pending Negotiations" section of the myResearch Portal. Here, faculty and staff can monitor the negotiation process by selecting the appropriate LOG# from the agreement list.
Active Awards
Once negotiations have been completed by the CPO, the agreement moves to the "Active Awards: Non-Disclosure Agreements" section of the myResearch Portal. Here, faculty and staff can view the negotiation history and any relevant documentation by selecting the appropriate LOG# from the Non-Disclosure Agreements list. The list details the disclosure and protection period dates.
Once the agreement expires, it can be viewed from the "View Completed Awards" list.
For any questions regarding the NDA agreement, please contact the CPO.
