Introduction

These instructions will describe the process of how to delete an IAF.

Article Body

Process note: Deleting an IAF removes all processing effort by the department, college, and faculty.  Please consider marking proposals as "not funded".

Proposal IAF

  1. If the Proposal IAF has not been submitted to the CPO, select the button to the far right of the IAF on the "Actions" tab.
  2. If the Proposal IAF has been submitted to the CPO,
    1. Determine that the Proposal IAF should be deleted and not just marked as "Unfunded". Once an IAF is deleted, the Proposal is removed from all investigator reporting.
    2. Submit a request to simsadmin@psu.edu with the OSP# and a description as to why the IAF is being deleted.

Award IAF

  1. Since an Award IAF has transitioned from a Proposal IAF, it cannot be deleted.
  2. Convert the Award IAF back to a Proposal IAF and submit a request to simsadmin@psu.edu with the OSP# and a description as to why the IAF is being deleted.
