A process map is included in the header of each Internal Approval Form (IAF). The shaded section reflects the current status of the IAF.

Standard process map for an Proposal IAF and Award IAF

 

Standard process map for an AIAF (no proposal submitted). 

 

IAF has been deleted by the submitting unit.

Proposal has been marked as “Withdrawn” by the submitting unit or central processing office.

Proposal has been marked as “Not Funded” by the central processing office or primary investigator.

Proposal has been marked as “Purged” after 18 months after submission.

A “Withdrawn”, “Not Funded”, or “Purged” proposal can be returned to a pending status by contacting the central processing office. Note that any proposal pending for 18 months is marked as “Purged” the first of each month.
