Compliance Checks - Export Review Notices
Export control notices are sent to export staff as an alert to start the export review process. The following distribution lists are used when distributing Export Review notices:
- OSP@psu.edu and Export-OSP@psu.edu (for all non-College of Medicine)
- Export-COM@psu.edu (for all College of Medicine)
Each email notice (see below) will be sent from epiaf@psu.edu with a subject of “Export Review Needed for a Proposal”. The email is sent after the primary investigator approves and when one of the following export review questions are marked as “Yes” on the Proposal IAF “Export” tab:
- Will security classification be imposed?
- Does the project include foreign subrecipients or consultants?
Each notice includes detailed information on the proposal with a link to the IAF record and displays all export review issues marked as “Yes” on the Proposal IAF “Export” tab.
