Wide-Screen Menu
The Dashboard Top Menu contains icons, single items, and dropdown menus.
- The "Print" icon sends a printable version of the page to a printer.
- The "Refresh" icon causes the entire page to refresh. The counts in the Dashboard Menu are re-counted, and the Main Content area is refreshed with the "home page" contents.
- Single items "Abstract Search" and "Current & Pending" can be accessed with a single mouse click.
- Dropdown menus
- "Portfolio" displays a top-level menu of your proposals. negotiations, awards, and research protocols, including current counts. See Dashboard View: Portfolio SubMenu
- "Other Reports" offers Report choices including Completed Awards, Not-Funded Proposals, and Summary Report. See Dashboard View: Reports Choices for more detail.
- "Delegate Access" offers choices to display your delegates (People Who Can View My Research Portfolio) and those who have delegated access to you (People I can View). See also myResearch Portal (Dashboard): How to Delegate Access to your myReseach Portal Information]
- "Links" offers a list of other websites relevant to research at PSU
- "Views" offers other views of myResearch Portal. Note that the same information and functionality is presented in every view.

Narrow-Screen Menu
The Narrow-screen Dashboard menu is used when the width of the display port (browser window, or portable device screen) is too narrow to accommodate the wide-screen menu. It is activated from a single icon, located at the top right of the screen. It combines all the choices from the Portfolio, Reports, Delegation, and Links drop-downs as described above. Any item on the menu that ends in the symbol:shows or hides a sub-menu with each click.
