Introduction
The Office of Research Accounting's Dashboard receives notifications of log records that have been distributed by the CPO (OSP, COM, and ARL). Only Research Accounting staff have access to the dashboard.
The Research Accounting Dashboard was released September 2013. The Advance column was added in 2020 with the change from IBIS to SIMBA.

Records show on the Research Accounting dashboard only when a distribution activity has been done from the Negotiation Manager Distribute Tab.
An Internal Order (IO) will not be created until all compliance approvals, if any, are obtained. If an Advanced IO is requested and created, the record will appear under the "Advance" column. After “Set Up Completed” is indicated for the OSP #, the record will not leave the Research Accounting dashboard until the award has been processed by the Central Processing Office. Once the CPO has matched the IAF to the Negotiation Manager Log record and is distributed by the CPO, then the OSP # moves from the Advance column to one of the other columns (New, Incremental, NCE, Other) based on the agreement being processed. Record will remain on dashboard until Research Accounting completes an activity of setup or complete without setup.
