NOTICE: SOLIDWORKS EDU 2023 is the installed version on SEDI and PSU ITS lab computers and runs in MS Windows environment only.

Prerequisites:

NOTE 1:

• Penn State MultiFactor Authentication (MFA) must be installed before you install the College of Engineering VPN.

NOTE 2:

Before using Penn State licensed SOLIDWORKS you must be connected to the Penn State VPN client.

Before downloading, please read the
      Solidworks Education Edition License Agreement.

Download Options:

** SOLIDWORKS 2023 [Windows 10 or 11, 64Bit ONLY] **

Option 1 (preferred)

SOLIDWORKS Education Community Software

**Requires a one time license activation and expires 7/31/2024**

• Download the 32 MB EXE setup file for the Solidworks Education Community software from the SOLIDWORKS.

Option 2

Penn State licensed software

** This version is in use in SEDI and PSU ITS labs and requires access to the PSU license server**

• Download the 16 GB ZIP file from the College of Engineering Servers
