Introduction

Instructions for making a request for an IO number to be added to your lab in iLab. A request has to be put in for any non-sponsored budget to be available in iLab.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Once you have logged into iLab, please follow the steps below to make the request:

  1. Expand the hamburger menu by clicking on it.
  2. Navigate to your lab listed under “My Groups”
  3. Once in the lab, navigate to the tab: “Membership Requests & Cost Centers/Internal Orders”
  4. Expand the menu to make the request by clicking on “Request access to additional Cost Center or Internal Orders”
  5. Fill out ONLY the highlighted “Internal Order” field for 12 digit internal order numbers.
  6. Click request to send the request.

Once the request is sent, the person responsible for the account will receive a notification e-mail from iLab. The responsible person’s name will appear on the list, that person needs to take action in order to approve the request, otherwise the IO number will not be activated in the lab.
