Introduction

Users can request any of the following types of course spaces in Canvas: a Sandbox, Master Courses, and Manually Enrolled Courses.

NOTE: Manually enrolled courses are limited to 500 enrollments. Users should keep in mind that they’ll need to request a new course space when their enrollments reach 500.

Step-by-Step Instructions

To request one of these Penn State-specific features, use the buttons on the right side of your Canvas Dashboard to begin your request. Click the button corresponding to the type of course space you want to create and then refer to the Links section below for specific instructions.

NOTE: If you do not see the buttons for these features on your Canvas Dashboard, it may be a result of High Contrast Styles being enabled in your personal settings. Refer to the High Contrast Mode article to resolve this.

Use the buttons at the right to request course spaces.
