Introduction
Accessing the IAF. All SIMS applications use the Microsoft Single Sign-on Solution.
Article Body
The Internal Approval Form (IAF) application uses Microsoft Single Sign-on Solution. To gain access, a user must have an established Penn State access account registered for Two-Factor authentication. The IAF can be accessed from any open internet connection.
If you have already authenticated with an alternative email (i.e. Penn State Health credentials) in your web browser and the browser does not give you the option to log in using PSU credentials, you must be logged into the main Penn State account to access SIMS. Using an incognito window may be helpful.
When the Penn State Microsoft sign-in screen is displayed, you will:
-
-
- Instead of just your user ID, enter your user ID followed by "@psu.edu" (e.g., abc123@psu.edu).
Include "@psu.edu" after your user ID even if you don't have a PSU email address.
Then click Next. - Enter your password on a separate screen, and click Sign In.
- If you're enrolled in MFA, the MFA prompt will display against a blank background.
