How do I change the portal name in my GlobalProtect VPN?

The PSU GlobalProtect service has a new portal name.  If your computer has not already been configured with the new portal name you need to manually change the portal name. The new portal name is vpn.psu.edu and the soon to be legacy portal name is secure-connect.psu.edu. You can check the portal name in the GlobalProtect agent settings.

• GlobalProtect agent has already been installed
• All computers and mobile devices that connect to the PSU GlobalProtect service

1. Open the GlobalProtect agent from the taskbar
2. Click the 3-line hamburger menu
3. Choose Settings
4. Under Manage Portals select the + button to add the new portal name
5. Enter vpn.psu.edu and click the Add button
6. Close the settings window and open the GlobalProtect agent again to select the new portal
