Penn State faculty, staff, students, and other affiliates currently enrolled in two-factor authentication (2FA).

Introduction

Follow the steps below to use a push notification for two-factor authentication.

Requires an enrolled smartphone or tablet on which the Duo Mobile app has been installed and activated.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Go to WebAccess.psu.edu or to the website you wish to log in to.

  2. On the WebAccess login screen, enter your user ID and password, and click Login.

  3. If it's not already selected, select the smartphone or tablet you wish to use from the Device drop-down.

  4. Click Send Me a Push.

  5. Follow the onscreen instructions on your phone or tablet to approve the request.
