The Intellectual Property Reminder email is generated after an IAF has been submitted to CPO and is acknowledged by OSP staff within Negotiation Manager. If an investigator answered "Yes" on the IAF for the use of background Intellectual Property (IP) and chose the 2nd option (up front commercial license) as their answer for the foreground IP question on the IAF, a reminder email is generated to the assigned negotiator. An example of this email is shown below.
