Issue
I would like to access my Penn State Email account through a browser like Chrome, Firefox, or Safari. How can I do this?
Environment
- Web browser
- Outlook Web App
- Office 365
Resolution
These instructions are for Penn State student, faculty, staff, and sponsored accounts. Penn State Health members should follow instructions provided by the Penn State Hershey IT department.
- Open a web browser and go to office365.psu.edu
- Click Log In
- Enter your Penn State Email address (example: abc1234@psu.edu)
- If you are not prompted to enter your email address, a different Microsoft account may be logged in. Click on the circle in the top right and click "sign out"
- Select the Work or school account created by your IT department if prompted
- At the Penn State Login page, enter your Penn State Access Account Access ID (abc1234) followed by @psu.edu
- Click Next
- Enter your Penn State Account password
- Authenticate with 2FA/Duo
- A "Stay signed in?" window may appear. You can select yes or no, that is up to you.
- Once logged in, select the Outlook icon from the left panel on your Office 365 Homepage.
- You will then be taken to your inbox.
Note: If this is your first time signing into your PSU Outlook account, it may have you establish your Language and Time Zone as well.
