Cayuse: How to request a non-PDF file upload

Some agencies require that non-PDF files must be uploaded for a solicitation.  Cayuse only allows administrative users to upload non-PDF files into the Attachments form.  Below describes the process the submitting unit must use for requesting the file upload.

Note that the unit must verify that the file is uploaded into the correct attachment and file upload space.  This is NOT the responsibility of the administrative user.

  1. Send an email to simsadmin@psu.edu with the following information:
    1. The Cayuse proposal name and SIMSbudgets budget# for Cayuse proposal verification.
    2. Exact file name of the non-PDF file being uploaded.  Some agencies require that uploaded files have a specific file name.
    3. Attachment number.
    4. Name of the file when entering the upload.  Note that the form Name is different from the file name.
  2. Once you receive confirmation that the file has been uploaded, it is the responsibility of the submitting unit to verify that all file upload information is correct.
