Introduction
Email notifications for a Log Match (Match Notice).

The Central Processing Office (OSP, COM ORA) acknowledges the award by matching a pending Proposal IAF. Submitting unit receives a “Notification of Log Match” (see image below) email when a proposal match is made. The notification email may indicate additional steps for the submitting unit to complete.
Match notice emails are not sent for the agreement types of NDA, PSSUB, SBIR, and STTR. Also, not sent for an Action of Non-Financial.
SIMBA Implementation
Upon SIMBA implementation, when a pending IAF is linked to a Negotiation Manager record with a New or Additional Funds action when the log record is created a match notification email is sent to the college. Additional verbiage (red text in image below) has been added to the email requesting the college complete the IAF "Account Setup" tab to assist Research Accounting in completing information in SIMBA Grants Management module.
