Issue

Your firewall is blocking traffic from Zoom. It is known to incorrectly interpret Zoom as a security threat and not allow it to run.

Environment

  • Zoom
  • Macintosh OS

Resolution

1. Go to System Preferences

2. Go to Security & Privacy

3. Go to Firewall and click Firewall Options

4. Click the plus button (+), then click on zoom.us.

5. Click Add to let allow incoming connections from Zoom.
