Introduction

The Disclosures Tab summarizes an investigator's answers to the Intellectual Property questions from the Investigators tab.

Article Body

The Disclosures Tab summarizes an investigator's answers to the Intellectual Property questions from the Investigators tab. If an IAF has an industry sponsor and the IAF is neither a unrestricted grant nor gift (as indicated on the waiver's tab), the investigator must answer Intellectual Property (IP) questions on the investigator's tab at the time of their approval.  These answer's are summarized and displayed on the Disclosures tab of the IAF.

When the Background IP question has not been answered by an investigator yet, "Investigators Tab Not Complete" will appear under Disclosures.

If the Background IP question has been answered as 'NO', then Nothing is listed for Background IP.

If the Background IP question has been answered as "YES" it will be listed first, followed by the "Foreground IP" information.

The Foreground IP will display the following depending on how the Investigator answers the foreground IP questions on the investigators tab

  • "Non-exclusive license for internal use"
  • "Up front commercial license"
