Private Fiber
- Charges for establishing private fiber networks are contingent upon the availability of existing University fiber and the number of University network hub-sites the fiber must go through to complete the private network. If University fiber is not available at the time of a request, the academic or administrative unit can (1) wait until more fiber is available through central funding or (2) fund the installation of the fiber.
- If an academic or administrative unit requires supporting hardware to connect and complete their private network, utilizing the private fiber, the customer will be responsible for the acquisition cost of the equipment plus a monthly maintenance fee.

Private Copper Circuit
- Charges for establishing private copper-circuit networks are contingent upon the availability of existing University copper. If University copper is not available at the time of a request, the academic or administrative unit can fund the installation of the requested copper.
- If an academic or administrative unit requires supporting hardware to extend a vendor circuit via copper to their network, the customer will be charged an equipment rental fee of $21.
