CRCS: Submit a Proposal to Add an Undergraduate Major Program in Curriculum: 5 Objectives and Justification Form

In this step, you will do the following:

• Provide an explanation of how the proposal meets the educational objectives and/or strengthens existing programs of the college(s) and the University, and indicate what students may expect to accomplish through the new program.
• Provide a justification statement that explains how the proposal fits within the strategic planning goals of the college.

NOTE: All or part of this information will be published in the Board of Trustees agenda.

1. In the Objectives of the Proposed Program text area, enter the program objectives, keeping in mind criteria listed in the first bullet point above.
