Learning Tool Integrations (LTIs) are a standard method of integrating rich learning applications with learning management systems like Canvas. LTIs can be integrated into your Canvas course and made available to your students via the Course Navigation menu by clicking on Modules or Assignments (depending on the integration).

NOTE: LTIs are not available in Sandbox courses.

Add an LTI to Your Course Navigation Menu

Follow the steps below to display an LTI in your Canvas course menu:

  1. Click Settings in the Course Navigation menu.
  2. Select the Navigation tab.
  3. Click the ellipsis (...) to the right of the integration name and select "Enable".

    Select Enable

  4. Click the Save button at the bottom of the screen.
